Was a bright day in Penrith today, not so bright in Borrowdale. Turned out that The Bowder Stone was quite wet still but Dan and Remy had a play anyway.

Skullcandy Competition Entry

Each month Skullcandy run a competition to create a wallpaper for your computer. If you win you get some goodies. I used my recent picture of Sam with a few tweaks done on photoshop as my entry.

Night Slacklining #5

Tonight we got out slacklining in the dark and rain. It was good fun for a while then got a little slippy.

Whinlatter, Malcom Wilson Rally

I went to the rally in Whinlatter forest yesterday. Miles, Craig, Louisa and I had decided not to stand on the corner where there was a deffinate chance of being ran over however where we were stood it was still scary when the cars were correcting themselves as they would straighten up towards you then shoot past. We saw a number of cars do the same thing as this one did.

Climbing Practical Day

Our final climbing practical day was spent at Shephards Crag near Keswick. Throughout the day we rigged up some abseils then we all climbed up Little Chamonix which took longer then expected then took photos of people top roping the last section. These were the best three photos from the day. It was very foggy making the pictures seem over exposed in the sky. A really enjoyable day the pictures would have been amazing if it had been clear.

This last picture is quite good one for summarising our course, laying and hanging about!

Lack of Transport and Favourable Weather

The past week i have found it hard to get out anywhere to go climbing and get pictures or have fun. Yesterday managed to get up a small hill overlooking most of Ullswater lake with friends. I managed to get a good panoramic shot and it will be up on here soon.

Today with the uni it was forecast to rain on our climbing practical. So we sheltered in Keswick Climbing Wall an used their facilities to learn how to set up our own abseils and ascend and descend a rope safely. Managed to take a load of photos from the top of the climbing wall but nothing that great at all.

*i feel let down by this post, nothing has happened that great to put up on here*

Shepherds Crag Climbing

This afternoon i went to Shepherds Crag with the lads. Was a great short day, we had to scramble/climb up past the normal climbing area to a less used rock face. Had great view which gave me the opportunity to try and get a decent panoramic shot for my coursework.
